Selection shall be made under six categories namely OC, BC, BCM (BC Muslim), MBC & DNC, SC and
ST reservations following the rules of reservation of the Government of Tamil Nadu as follows:
69% Rule of Reservation
Open Competition 31.00%
Backward Class 26.50%
Backward Class Muslim 3.50%
Most Backward Class & Denotified Communities 20.00%
Scheduled Caste 18.00%
Scheduled Tribes 1.00%
Tamil Nadu native candidates alone will be considered for communal reservations. The list of communities eligible to
compete against the reserved quota is appended
